Best system ever (imo).

Ever since the start of the 5th generation (PS1/N64/Saturn), I´ve been waiting for the "SNES 2"...neither the N64 nor the GameCube nor the Wii were the second coming of the SNES, closest thing to it was the DS, but I don´t like handhelds so to me it´s a moot point.

I wonder if the Wii U will finally be it....probably not.

Hm... if Nintendo could rerelease the SNES at $30, with physical games sold at $10, and if games were modified to not look like garbage on widescreen TVs...

Damn it. This is exactly how I feel also, except I thought N64 did okay but Sony took its thunder. Sadly, though, there may never be another SNES2 simply because of Iwata. He's a great president for Nintendo and I'm glad he's brought Nintendo to where they are today. It's just that his strategy is disruption by innovation, and appeal of the blue ocean.

I'm hoping Wii U combines NES/SNES strategic business model and Wii's dynamic appeal to a cohesive whole.

SNES had a 20 year plan...

Proves once and for all SNES is best console of all history. I doubt any PlayStation or Xbox will see NEW games released nearly 20years after.
