If everyone hated the 3rd one, then why did it gross over $1bn?

Everyone didn't hate the 3rd one. It was better than the 2nd, but like nearly all Bay movies, it has "issues" with story/plot etc.

I liked all three movies, but I do wish the new reboot was being done be a new director.

Am I the only person that reads review scores of a film before I go to see it...?

i seriously dont understand whats with all the hate on the 3rd one.

it is a good, entertaining movie. WAYYYYY!!! better than the 2nd one.

it had a whole lot less stupid, retarded sexual jokes. stupid Robot and parent humor was kept to a minimum.

the story actually made sense (unlike the 2nd one). it has great action, set pieces. 3d was great. and it had a Super hot girl in it, and not Megan Fox.

optimus prime was finally a bad ass!!

michael bay, actually used good ciniamatography, he stopped shaking the camera soo much.

i cant reallly find any glaring fault in it, it was a sollid movie

Transformers- Great action and special effects. A thoroughly enjoyable popcorn flick and a welcome use and debut of a well established franchise using Hollywood money and expertise.

Transformers 2- Disappointing but to be expected for a lot of action film sequels these days.

Transformers 3- How the hell did this end up being the 4th highest grossing film of all time? I couldn't finish it, it was truly dreadful. Atrocious acting and terrible pacing. What's with those awful & sickly boyfriend & girlfriend lovey dovey, break up/make up badly acted scenes? Maybe I'm getting too old.

Transformers 4- I hope it flops so badly.

It would have to agree with this... in the understanding that 3 was okay and all the rest below that.

Don't worry. Judging by how the series has progressed in term of quality, it won't be as crap, it will be even worse.
