Ah the last month of the year. Time to get ready for X'mas dinner, buy gifts and make lists. And yes Yahoo starts this sad parade with their top 7 most Overhyped games, games that promised an amazing experience and ended up being a sad disappoint.

7.- Rage (It's not that bad.... ok it's short and seems incomplete but C'mon we have seen worse games)

6.- Spider-Man: Edge of Time (Did anybody was expecting this game???)

5.- Need for Speed: The Run (Racing games will never be like FPS, so annual releaess are not a good idea)

4.- DC Universe Online (Now it's free and seems like it's getting good..... but yes you can't play with the DC characters, they're just sitting over there)

3.- Dragon Age II (Dear Bioware, we hate you now..... unleass you fix this mess)

2.- Homefront (Even the development team was dismiss after this huge blow)

1.- Duke Nukem Forever(Oh yes..... it's bad ... so bad)

need for speed was over hyped? last time I checked not many talk about it since last gen.

i gotta say, Battlefield 3's single player is disappointing, but its because i wasn't informed much about it, i thought it was nonlinear like the multiplayer part, but it was very linear, ironic because i always know Battlefield for being "Battlefield" where you go around a map anyway you want like the bad company games.

agreed, overhyping usually means games most people think are amazing or at least they thought they were going to be amazing and you think they didn't live up to it.  I don't think any of those match up, kind of sad as it makes it a real boring list.

Where is LA Noire? So many promises, so much potential, so little delivery.

Duke and rage were hyped but still.

I see they didn't want to offend so they went the safe route.

the campaign and single player are completly different. always has been.
