This is just too funny!

That's what happened to me first time I encountered a giant. I had an awesome view of Whiterun from the air.

This game is very addictive, I just need to remember to save often. Glitches, cumbersome interface, and eg giant sabre tooth cats jumping out of nowhere still results in instant death for my fragile mage.

The AI is pretty bad, which makes it pretty easy to take anything down you want with ranged attacks as long as you use the terrain. Too bad loot scales to your level, I feel cheated after spending a lot of time taking down a target way above my level and ending up with the same stuff a regular bandit drops.

The world is the real star and so awesome to get lost in. My first task was to get to Winterhold college, took me 3 days to get there with all the distractions :) Wow those sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. The music and sound effects are perfect. Blowing snow looks extremely good. Can't wait to continue.

Skyrim looks bad on PC to many glitches. My cousin had his maxed out to 60fps and shit still popped in at a distance.
The game is bad visually and gameplay wise im sorry.I'm going to pick it up when Steam has a christmas sale or something.
I can't imagine how it looks on consoles..Should've waited for the PS4 and Xbox720 lol.

Definetely the best game of the year behind Xenoblade.

Xenoblade had a far more compelling open world and a story that wasn't mediocre.

They both have very generic main stories, but if you prefer Japenese themes then you would like xenoblade more. Skyrim sidequests are much more enjoyable though and better then either games main quest or xenoblades lame sidequests. But compelling open world, not a chance. No game is even close to matching skyrim.

I've played about 12 hours so far, and it's amazing. I got lost on side-quests and whatnot.

At first I was concerned about the lack of attributes (even though I figured it would be good not to have to be anal about leveling), but it's starting to seem like a non-issue.

The only gripe I do have with it is the pointer system. I loved in Morrowind when people would actually tell you direction to some place and you could ask for direction around, instead of having a marker telling you where to go. Was so much more immersive. I'd like the old style descriptions be present with markers as an option.

But the game is great in just about every other aspect and even though my computer died on me forcing me to play on a crappy sempron 2800+ (yup, it's possible) and thus having everything set to low and the occasional slowdown I'm definitely hooked.

You played 33 hours in 3 days? Are you okay?

As a first time Elder Scrolls player and someone who's not a huge fan of RPGs, Skyrim has been a pleasantly surprising experience. The game definitely bombards you with compelling quests, so you're never standing around.

The game really doesn't tell you much about how the controls work, which is fine if you've already played Elder Scrolls games. It just gives you the basics at the beginning and lets you stumble around until you figure out things on your own. I'm around 8 hours in and I've finally grown comfortable with how the game works. I'm not a huuuge fan of the combat system either... just seems like it could be a smoother experience, but I'm getting better at it.

I've encountered a couple of glitches here and there, some funny (a wolf kills a skeever and sends him flying 50 feet in the air ) some really annoying (that guy you save from the spider in the first dungeon disappeared when he died, so I didn't know I needed the gold hand until I got to the door...)

But other than that... the world is incredible, and you can tell that Bethesda put their hearts in this game (it shows). Skyrim is very impressive thus far, and I'm always wanting to go back and play a little more. I guess I'm a fan. ^_^

I guess you´ll be putting Skyrim aside for some time in just a few days, no?

you would be suprised what skyrim does to people XD.

Before skyrim came out this year I probably played video games for 5-6 hours a week at the most.  From friday night when I got skyrim to Sunday night when I went to bed I spend 24hours playing skyrim.

i love this game, i love it so much that i hate it for making every other game looks like a piece of shit.
i've bought it along with the following games
Uncharted 3 , Golden Eye , Ace Combat , Dark Souls , Ratchet And Clank , Gears Of War 3, Sonic Generations, Ico and Shadow of the colossus collection (Ala my favorite two games of all time) , MGS collection , Forza 4...

and i played only skyrim ... ONLY skyrim, some of the others i just installed and updated and then left alone, don't want to be bothered with.

Yo I could do with some of your paper right now.
