I can understand why Japanese people buy Sony products over american..

but why do European people choose PS3 over the 360? i mean the 360 has an amazing library! Forza, Halo, Gears!! the online is so much better on the xbox!

i just dont understand them.. can someone explain this to me? especially Germany, France, Italy, Spain im not talking about UK

I'm speaking from "fake" Europe, so I don't have any reliable opinions on the subject, but it could just be because Sony has a bigger influence and brand awareness in mainland Europe. It's probably not any reason more exciting than that

Sometimes i don't understand Americans, what makes them choose 360 over pS3?

I would ask this question because I am truelly baffled by it. Other than the fact people want the console their friends have I just dont know.

Actually I have opinions, but I no longer care to over analyze this stuff.

-Brand name. The Playstation brand is more known than Xbox.
-Sports. Although the major sports games are also on Xbox 360 they sell better on PS3. This means that sports fans prefer Playstation.
-Marketing. Sony is better at marketing their products towards European audiences. They have more experience in this region.
-Gran Turismo. Self-explanatory.
