Have glowing Time Beams shooting out of my eyes that blow stuff up.

To be honest just go to the far, far distant future where all the speculative technology is real.

I wouldn't do that, eventually you'll want to return to the the present because of family/friends or whatever, and it'll suck knowing that the future is so much better or so much worse. I would just mess with my own past and the present. Seeing the future could make the present a little boring or pointless.

Actual virtual reality that works >>> whole family. I'd just have an AI reconstruct their personality.

I hate my present anyway.

Have sex with people from the past and future.

At the same time? No pun intended.

Awww yaaa.

I would take back WW2 era planes and win the civil war for the south. I would reunite the union under myself and take control of Canada and Mexico. I would then assemble a council of the evilest people in the world and command the planet with them at my side.

Also, I would "eliminate" George Lucas before 1999....

I probably wouldn't even bother using the ability (even for the trivial things); way too many things can go wrong, and it would be beyond frustrating--not to mention a little maddening--to put things right. Then you have to deal with what "right" is in the first place. Is something "right" because it's what happened originally, or naturally, or is "right" something you create by manipulating original events. After repeated alterations to original events--especially if they are successful--a god complex will inevitably developed.

The human mind is incapable of identifying, let alone processing, the near infinite variables that work together to create the world as we currently experience it. Dicking around in the past or future will eventually unleash a clusterfuck of biblical proportions, and frankly, I just can't be bothered to deal with the bullshit. Time control is one "gift" I'll be returning to sender.

Over-thinking it. I'd do stuff like stop time during an exam, do some research, write it down. Or I'd talk a girl over and over again until I get it right and she wants to go out! small stuff that lead to bigger stuff, anything that goes wrong can be revised and re-done. The only issue I'd face is life might become a little boring.

Time control is the ultimate drug, do you really believe you have the self-control to relegate yourself to nigh insignificant alterations. I'm all but certain that I don't.

I'm awesome therefore I can. Stop with the logic.

i will use it to play games, there is so much and so little time.

well thats my game related answer since this is in the gaming forum.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I'd change something in the past enough to correct something to make my life happy.

Hmm, pie.

spend the rest of my life with spending my lottery money

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

Probably just use it to make money, like going to the future to get winning lottery numbers/sports upsets (for betting).

Then I would go re-live my life from about age 10 or so with the knowledge I have today
