lol why are you taking my 50k as a literal number they should expect. I was just saying that they shouldnt expect crazy big numbers and therefore keep the budget down. And if you think 50k (which I meant Japan only because thats like 90% of sales) is bad as then you expect too much of games like this

Anything below 150k it bad for me and i'm sure if they made a real persona game it will probably have higher sale and profit.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Both spin-offs should clear 100k with ease, but I don't think they get much past that.

lol someone dosent understand profit>sales numbers. Also if the team thats making DAN made a real Persona game it would destroy the series reputation

I said a rpg persona would sold and make more profit then this spin off.

Possibly, but if they have reasonable expectations and set their budget accordingly, they could still do very well from it, plus it's not being made by the main Persona team so there's no real negative impact on the development of other games. Also I'd imagine they'll just use music from P4 which has already been composed, maybe with some remixes but most of it will already be there plus the character designs and things are mostly in place anyway, so I doubt it will be expensive to develop

Spinoffs, even smaller ones can do well, that's why so many series have them - a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game will sell perhaps a tenth or even less of a mainline game, but they're still worth making to keep interest in the IP high without people getting bored of the same type of game over and over.

If they made P4:DAN instead of P5 then you may have a point, but that isn't the case so they may as well make a little extra cash on the side

Remember Persona 4: DAN already has a completed game engine as it's using the Project Diva engine. All they need to do are environment rendering/art direct, character models, animation and music remixes (if they aren't using existing material). It's essentially a reskin, a small team can do the project and the budget will be negligible.

I actually think this will be surprisingly successful for a lot of people. The Diva game doesn't interest me half as much as this does purely because I already know Persona 4's soundtrack and love it.

Gameplay of Vita version of MXGP:

I know most people will be "meh" like they were with WRC4 (seriously guys you suck!) but damn, again the progress Milestone have made with Vita from their earlier efforts. Yes it has cardboard trees again, but there is a huge draw distance, and the amount of detail is much greater than MUD and Moto GP 13. There's also much better surface textures than the previous bike efforts.

Having full career mode etc day and date with home console releases, Milestone might actually have a day 1 sale here. WRC4 is one of my favourite Vita titles.

Oh, you guessed right, even though it's from untranslated volumes ^^ The series is getting an anime by the way.

yeah I think it's because of the eye. I have also seen some untranslated raws around..so I have seen the new look a bit. I LOVE the manga. Can't wait for the rest of it to get translated

Muramasa 2nd DLC is out!

'A Cause to Daikon For' is the second installment of the 'Genroku Legends', a set of stories that take place in the 'Muramasa Rebirth' universe. In this chapter, you'll play as the downtrodden farmer Gonbe, who has taken it upon himself to ask the powers that be to re-think the taxes that are driving his village to the brink of ruin. With the spirit of his deceased wife Otae and some of his fellow farmers by his side, Gonbe sets off to fight for nothing less than the very survival of everyone he knows and cares about! Wielding only a hoe, sickle, and a simple bamboo spear, Gonbe will do everything in his power to defeat his foes and make his voice heard!

Featuring an all-new storyline, a new fighting style, and even new bosses, “A Cause to Daikon For” is an action-packed adventure perfect for those in need of some extra Muramasa action. Players will even be able to test their skills with Gonbe against any of the bosses from both of the original Muramasa Rebirth storylines!

They released the first DLC?
