@conegamer must have been a different guy reviewing the games, advertising could have helped this as well

Bad job Sega, I even forgot this game came out today. The TRU I work at didn't get anything about this in, not even the game itself. Gamestops around here didn't even bother putting it on the New Release section, they just threw the box in with the others. Stealthiest release EVER.

Doubtful because the only times I talk to them is when I'm buying stuff. If they don't want my money then fine. But if they do, I expect them to at least know a minimal amount of knowledge about gaming and upcoming releases. After all, it's their jobs, and when they say 'talk to the GAMERZ!!!' I expect it to happen
@Oniyide- Maybe, but he still said 'better than the original', so he must have played both and would therefore abide by the review score for the site...and yes, no advertising at all? A certain gaming shop didn't even know it exsisted...

With time, vast progression is expected. Exactly why games like LBP2, Reach, Left 4 Dead 2, Killzone 3, I could go on, score much lower. You can't just be better than the original, 2 years later, it needs to be much better.
To the guys in the shop, they probably don't like your attitude, you do come across as a guy that expects a lot, they don't give a damn about you or your money, they're not exactly reaping the profits either way are they ..
@conegamer i dont know about that, just cause he works at GI doesnt mean he would agree with all the scores, GI has lots of different reviewers, they are not some kind of hive mind and think alike, for all we know he probably would have gave the original a 5, hell he probably did and they decieded not to run his review, either way its looking pretty bad for Sega and HVS,
@Seece i agree to a certain extent, especially if the game your making a sequel too was mediocore in the first place, however i would argue that there are some games that get released that are just damn near perfect already and there isnt really much to do in way of improvements. LBP, L4D, KZ2 IMHO those games had very little flaws to begin with so it wasnt like the developers had to do much to them to begin with. having played the sequel to those games they did improve but like i said it didnt need that much improvement
