Woohooo!! So I finally bought a new PS3 Slim (160GB). Along with it I picked up Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition and it's installing as I type! I can't wait to play it!

I need help from you guys. I've never owned a PS3 before so you can imagine ALL the games I've been missing out on. I remember making a thread like 500 years ago asking for game recommendations but I can't find it so once again, recommend me some of your favorite PS3 games. I can enjoy almost any genre except sports and racing games.

Welcome here dude, pay attention to some traps here and there, darth loses them quite often.

As for your request : Metal Gear Solid 4, God Of War 3, Killzone 2/3, Uncharted 1/2 (!!!!!), inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, WipeOut HD (that's not only racing, it's an experience!!), Resistance 1/2 (1 is gold!), Ratchet & Clank (all of them), Heavy Rain, Yakuza games, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1/2, flOwer and a lot more but I'm tired, can't remember.

Edit: Lost Planet 1 (just this one :p), Dynasty Warriors if you like killing 1000 enemies and still have 1000 coming at you =D, Valkyria Chronicles (<3), Armored Core if you like mecha fights, Assassin's Creed 2/BH, Dead Space, Mass Effect 2.

Get assassins creed 2 if you haven't played that franchise, its a seriously wonderful game.

Get Demon's Souls if you like some addicting RPGs that are extreme hard.

Infamous and infamous 2 shortly.

MGS f**king 4. Best game Imo.

Uncharted 1 and 2 is an obvious must buys for every PS3 owner, at least Uncharted 2 is.
