Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony Forming Anti-Piracy Program

Yeah, well, we're cool with TSA groping our children in the name of safety. There's absolutely nothing wrong with not owning what we purchased.

2 wrongs make a right. I won.

Yes, the lengths to wich certain people will defend villains like pirates and hakers have nbo bounds.

The rights certain customers are willing to let go, to fight pirates or otherwise, have no bounds.

Like?

Actually owning the product you bought?

Yeah I know, yet when that product breaks, whos the first people we run to

That's because they can't sell a defective product. If you bought a game from someone, thinking it works, and it turned out not to be working, wouldn't you feel cheated?

Lol, go for the jugular Sony. haha

This is a throwback to coldwar era days where the Soviet Union put spies in villages around eastern Europe...

Do people actually agree this is OK?

hahahaha is that what you guys think.....wow

noooooooo you'll just ONLY be able to use a product the way it was meant to be used. So when Sony releases a product for a certain purpose it will only ever be used for that purpose. SO terrible XD

now go ahead and use the PC as a defense

oh and that's NOT losing your rights.......

Is it just me or have these GeoHot/Sony anti-piracy thread brought in more new users than any other thread before them?

Anyway, I hope Sony don't go too over the top with draconian DRM. As much as they need to protect their investment and as much as I think GeoHot should pay for his foolishness, over the top anti-piracy measures will just hurt loyal customers.

Do you really believe that bullshit? That you're not allowed to do what you want to do with the product you own?
