Which will sell most Week 1? Lifetime?

Skyward Sword (Week 1) 15 7.69%
 
Uncharted 3 (Week 1) 16 8.21%

Not an overly taxing question. From a previous thread of mine, it's clear to see that these 3 games are the 3 biggest exclusives of the year, and, how fortunate it is that they're all on different consoles!

So my question is this- Which of these games do you think will sell the most FW, and which will sell the most LT?

Judging from previous games' sales, here's my expectations:

 

  • Skyward Sword-1.3million (8million)
  • Uncharted 3- 900k (5.5million)
  • Gears Of War 3- 2million (7.8million)
So that makes Gears Of War 3 the winner Week 1, but SS just the winner LT...
All of these are launch-aligned and in all areas, by LT I mean by the time it sells less than 5k a month.
So, what do you reckon? Do you agree? Or am I making things up? (For Seece- Again)

It really comes down to how well Zelda will sell when it's just a Wii game. Can it beat 7-8million? I don't know...

Although Uncharted 3 will be (for some people) the better game, it doesn't really have the sales of the other two franchises to carry it through. Could change with UC3 however!

First Week: Gears (2-2.5 Million)

Lifetime: Gears (7-8 Million)

Edit: Changed first week sales to 2-2.5 million

I just think that Zelda will do a little better in the end, but it will be close.

Pretty much, yeah

Zelda games have pretty good legs, but Gears isn't a slouch either... It'll be interesting, that;s for sure!

Pretty much anything with those 5 in, especially with all 5 in, was a given. Then the actual sales arrived, and everyone was shocked, it was unprecidented to say the least...

1st week- Gears 3 (about 2 million)

LT- Zelda (about 8 million)

Although I prefer Uncharted to Gears and Zelda, I think in the first week it won't stand a chance against Gears' sales and overall, Zelda's legs will see it pull in huge numbers.

Gears 3 for both lol, although I wish I could say UC3 honestly. :(
