This thread is a place for all the data that is now reserved for VGChartz pro data to be placed when it is discovered.

IMPORTANT: If you arrived at this data through illegal means, or through means that are against the VGChartz terms of service, do not post it. If I find out you are breaking the law or website rules I will report you myself. If you are a VGChartz pro user, you may not post in this page. This thread will doubtless be locked if any of the above happens, and so if you wish this thread to keep going, do not break any rules in here. Keep conversations on topic and friendly.

Ioi has told us that this change to VGChartz is not about taking data away, but about taking away the convenience. So I thought this'd be a convenient place to put some freely available data.

Every week, I will be posting the top 30 publishers and their sales figures, rather than just the top 5 as is reported in the weekly threads.

I'll be posting the top 200 games sales if and when I can work out a way to do it that doesnt invovle individually trawling each game's sales.

EDIT: Worked out how to get the top 200, shall be posting it in this thread shortly after the data comes in.

We're allowed a thread where the NPD leaks get posted, so I can't see why this is not allowed.

If you could not post those numbers here you always could post them on other sites (PM's), Facebook etc;.

I've already complained and I've already questioned. I've also already accepted that neither of these are likely to do much. So all that is left is to move on, and to make the best use of the data still available to us. And that is what this thread is about

No, I shan't be doing that. It is Brett's data and it belongs on Brett's site.

However, I do nto expect any problems with this thread. We have always been allowed to analyse and organise the data given to us in any way we like and post it on the forums. I am confident that has not changed.
