What iwata means by the consumer chooses is that of course they want 3D without glasses instead of playing your PS3 games on a small device which will cost more than a PS3 :P

Yes I know sharp has, Nintendo used their technology so. Yes but neither the iPhone nore the sharp phone has the deep game play that 3DS will have :) they lack the controls for it

for a true gaming experience you need an NGP and its 274 confirmed buttons!

but I would have to use my hands and feet to play it then and it is too small for that :S

I suspect that Iwata (and everyone at Nintendo) is probably very confident at this point in time; but, as is usual for Iwata, he doesn’t want to make any cocky statements that come back to bite him.

Now putting my fan boy aside i can say for sure that once someone saws the 3D on a 3DS their minds will set and they will just get a 3DS, now the biggest problem for sony is that by the time that the NGP arrives tons of millions will all ready had their 3DS experience and even with better visuais and a 5'' oled screen will take away the feeling of "That is just flat...and boring"
