I'm concerned about potential stalkers with the NGP, with it's 3G, and cameras...  There better be a way to shut-off, cover up, and set privacy settings on the thing.  It's been said that cellphones cause cancer (whatever) but, I'd rather be safe than sorry...  Aside from that, I'm really excited for it... No 3DS for me.. Not interested.

3DS and NGP when/if it has portable games I'd want to play and when it comes down in price.

Most likely none, unless the NPG has some amazing NEW IPs, otherwise I'll just stick to my PS3. Or if it has pro apps and so on.

I haven't been into portable gaming since the original gameboy advance.  That'll change probably around may 2012.  

3DS fits my situation better.  

• HW and SW will be cheaper.  
• I HATE TROPHIES(to be more general I hate gamerscores), so the talk of ninty's achievement--->earning some kind of reward definitely appeals to me. I would love a subtle achievement system like steam, but that is in no way a deal breaker.
• 3DS will have backwards compatibility for DS games.  That is a large library of games I have not played.  Hoo rah
• Right now, 3DS has games I want such as bomberman, RE mercenaries, Splinter cell(chaos theory port or not), kid icarus, and a few others.
• If I wanted to play Sony's games I would buy a PS3. Also, I still have Monster Hunter Tri, so the portable version I'm indifferent to.
• I HATE FINGER TOUCH SCREEN CONTROLS!!!!
• 3DS will be more portable and have more portable games.  
• The ladies will be wowed by the 3D
• Third Party Nintendo= Awesome
• Next gen I could very well be a Portable/PC gamer.  Why would I play an FPS on a portable system while I have steam?  To that extent, 3DS also looks to have a mean fighting line-up, a genre not great on the PC.
•  3DS's online appeals to me. 

3DS might be the first handheld console I will get since the Game Boy Colour. If I can afford it sometime. I'm a poor university student ATM :(

I'm serious. If Sony hires like Koji Kondo and so on to exclusively compose for Resistance and LBP, I'd buy immediately.

Both. Nintendo finally has the hardcore games support and playing in 3D will be sweet, not to mention there is bound to be a new Pokemon game in a few years. I'm easily more interested in the NGP because of of the raw power of it, it's just as innovating if not more so then the 3DS and I'm a huge fan of the Uncharted, Killzone, and Resistance franchises. There will be some sweet new IP's too hopefully, that game Gravity Daze looks pretty awesome.
