This after refocusing their efforts away from console games and aiming at the mobile market, doh!

It's done great though, credit to them cause they did everything with the game near perfect in terms of release date, marketing etc.

Didn't development on the Wii start in 2008? When they canned the PC/PS3/360 game.

Perhaps on 3DS but probably not on Wii. They haven't even started development of Kingdom Hearts 3 so it is completely possible that it won't even appear on this generation of consoles. It is certain that Kingdom Hearts 3 won't be available in at least 3 years.
