Eh, I'd say Mass Effect 2 was better than most games that came out in 2010, even though it was a step back from ME1 in quite a few areas. So I don't mind.

because a 10 on wii and 10 on HD consoles isnt the same thing.

if they were the same i dont think we would ever see great games like mass effect. instead every developer would make a platformer with ok graphics and get more sales and a higher score while at the same time saving effort on pushing the hardware to its limits through evolving game engines.

Wait, are you implying that Galaxy 2 is graphically unimpressive, because I think it sure as hell is best looking game on the Wii (even if on discounts that it runs at a rock solid 60fps) and pushes it's respective system more than almost any other game this gen.

Just don't bother. He is all about teh best grafikz (his history for speaks for itself).

Funny thing is, he probably isn't even a PC gamer.

It doesn't matter, SMG or SMG2 might be the highest rated on each site, but still won't be GOTY for number of reasons. The most easiest is to say ratings and reviews means nothing to GOTY system.

Personally I am just glad Red Dead didn't win and Mass Effect 2 won (because I had feeling SMG2 wouldn't win).

im saying that a review website woudnt concsider a game that didnt have a really good score for game of the year. But someone said ratings and reviews mean nothing for goty and i dont agree. im also not saying the highest rated should be the overall best.

Well alteast they didn't pick a underserved games this year.

Mass Effect 2 is on my top 3 list of 2010 atleast so I'm not dissapointed

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)
