It's Tri-face bigest dissapointment so far for me.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

ill say an 8/10 the story was weak but i liked the battle system and the characters had good personalities but nothing ever happens so you rarely see it lol.

It has its flaws, but actually it's a great RPG.

Pros:

.even though unrealistic, the weapon customization & forging parts was motivating

.the battle system is simply awesome, though it takes a while to fully understand it. it may be irritating and even frustrating at first, but when you get it, it rocks

.character customization is also quite deep and cool

.characters itself are great. You'll get attached to them

.sometimes, the game is absolutely hilarious ;)

.innovative overworld

Cons:

.the dungeon design is quite generic & boring. Maybe the main flaw of the game

.story doesn't play a very big role, but then again, I think that never really was the main focus of the game - even though it's an RPG

.it would have been nice to have more than just 3 weapon types, though it works well that way

.some more lively areas would have been nice. I like the steampunk style but variety's always good

It seems like it fails in some key areas, but actually, the pros largely outweigh the cons - at least for me.

So I'd give it 8.5/10

End of Eternity(ROF) is a good JRPG I would give i 8/10.

It is hard to get into because of the steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it is is a fun R|JRPG despite the week story.

2/10, either I don't like JRPGs or that game was plain pants for me.

I mean I managed to play Lost Odyssey to disk 4, that's got to count for something, right?

I give the characters a 10/10 just from watching the videos...forreal. Also...

:P

Ok WTF, a pervert bear and a panda standing in front of some woman orgasming over some meat, the bear has some weird fantasies about woman's breasts and spouts out sexual innuendos (bestiality?).

Are ALL JRPGs akin to that?

Thats because Lost Odyssey puts this piece of shit to shame.

I wanted to buy ROF until I realized that the developers are also responsible for Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which was a disaster IMO.

Good to know I wasn't the only person that found this game abysmal in comparison lol

8/10. The battle system is really cool, the music is an awesome mix of piano solos and prog rock, and the story is kind of vague and open-ended which is a pretty nice change of pace from the usual JRPG method of beating you over the head with the bleedingly fucking obvious. The dialogue is pretty hilarious, too, and I really enjoyed dressing up the characters (probably a little too much, actually).
