Call of Duty 4 Modern Wafare.

After an underwhelming CoD3, I was at first very skepctical of COD4 but as more and more got revealed and the fact that it was now Modern Wafare, it got me hooked back into CoD and BLAM!!!

COD4 easily has the best Campaign of all CoDs and the multiplayer was incredibly awesome. Blew me away and my expectations.

Black Ops is second with MW2 behind at 3rd.

I like WaW, mostly because I like anything WWII, Black Ops is now second

CoD2 on PC was pretty fun. Also because I like to be different from everyone else. Lol

Hmm, hard decision, but I think my order would be like this:

CoD4 > BO > CoD2 = MW2 > W@W

Singelplayer: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Multiplayer: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

MP in Black ops sucks and i prefer special ops over zombies.

For me the best CoD would have to be CoD2. That was the best singleplayer period for me. CoD4 was great but it was also boosted by the fact CoD3 sucked so much. I ran through the CoD3 singleplayer so fast it's not funny. CoD4 comes in 2nd with the story. I never played WaW because the best thing I heard about it was the zombie mode. I never played the singleplayer for MW2 because I heard it wasn't as great as CoD4 so I'm in no rush.

I won't compare the multiplayer, since I don't play CoD online for many reasons. Also, I didn't play CoD2 and CoD3 (and all the other random ones).

Anyways, I remember when I played the single player campaign in MW for the first time, it was awesome. When I look back at it though, I think WaW had the better one. Then MW2 released and I thought the last couple of missions in it were brilliant (the intro to the Gulag mission still impresses me today). Black Ops' campaign is complete shit, 'nuff said.

Now, for replay value, WaW has Zombie mode, but Black Ops' is better. MW2 had Spec Ops and I've had lots of fun with it with friends. Black Ops has Combat Training and that's a big plus, but it's still CoD multiplayer (I get bored with it easily).

So, for the overall package I prefer MW2 over the rest. I'm probably the only one though...

so far black ops has been better ion every way in my opinion, but I agree that cod 4 was alot more innovative just people must admit MW2 and BO are both alot better than cod 4

I may try the singleplayer for MW2 soon thanks to you. My hands are full at the moment though.

The story sucks ass. Be prepared to be confused! The music is great and the pacing is pretty much perfect though. It's an Infinity Ward game after all!
