And maybe 1 game per Sport franchise, all the editions are actually good, but as stated the wii owner doesn't buy the "almost same" game every year.

Actually, Tiger Woods was bucking this trend, and selling better and better annually, to the point the Wii SKU was even the best selling version.  Of course, all that collapsed this year for obvious reasons...

Because of PlayStation Move?

(irrelevant shit from the news)

Typical Xbot. Always trying to downplay Sony's successes. Move killed the Wii, simple as that.

Aside from sports titles, I don't recall any good EA games on the Wii.

In all fairness, they do make the best sports games I've played.

The only EA Wii game I can defend is Boom Blox bash party.  They added tons of content from the original while tweaking the controls a bit.  Some of the user-created content online is awesome, and the motion works pretty darn well.  The biggest reason it sold far less than the first perhaps was including 'party' in the name.

Of course if you don't care for the puzzle genre, it might not appeal to you.

When you make the same sports game year after year with little difference, this should come as no surprise.  In terms of spectation, golf is a pretty niche sport.  Football is huge, so you can to some extent just update the roster.  Unfortunate, but it does work.   My guess is not many golf fans are going to care to get the game year after year.

they have very few good titles...

Dead Space was a good game, but set in a genre that was full of (cheaper) games and very different from the original genre of the franchise so Wii owners didn't have a reason to pick it and neither franchise followers.

Boom Blox (the first one) was a success, but the sequel came too fast and without proper hype or advertisement.

NBA Jam, its a great game that may have the WORST treatment in the history of videogames, first they said its an exclusive, then announced a gimped version for the HD consoles for free and WITH online modes, then announced a HD version with all the features AND online at the same price of the Wii version WITHOUT online. All before the Wii version actually came out.

The Mysims titles are nice but not great, and sell decent numbers.

I actually bought MySims for the Wii. One of the most boring games I've ever played!

It started out exciting, and then got too repetitive...

As for Dead Space, I have the PC version, yet to play it (I'm waiting for my bro to finish it, he'll give me a good enough verdict on whether to play it or not)

There is no Knowledge that is not Power

You know. They should hire a Captain Obious. Often times, they really do need pointers on that.

If the publishers kept using your console of choice as scapegoat, you'll end up hating them, too.

They have some PC titles that I am interested in but decided to ignore them altogether.

Maybe the Wii and DS actually have problems. Publishers don't go to secret meetings to gossip about how wacky Nintendo is, their claims might be legitimate and they aren't a bunch of 'Da Biazed' forum goers, they are businesses filled with intelligent people, real world problems and years of experience. EA have been great publishers this gen, they've created some fantastic new IPs, they've taken some risks that I as a gamer can appreciate and they've made all their current franchises better than they were last gen. It's a shame your not going to play their games, they've been having some of the best line-ups in recent memory, your loss I guess.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
