I don't know when it's being released in Japan though so I can't predict the userbase by then.

Blue Dragon managed 82k in its first week with smaller install base (albeit not MUCH smaller). Id say LO appeals more to the japanese audience than BD, so Ill go with 100-120K sales first week, but I imagine it'll recieve a massive drop off and not top 400k lifetime.

As I said in the other thread, this won't be as big as Blue Dragon. Expect the usual Dragon Quest to Final Fantasy ratio - 4:3. This is more like FF, while BD is more like DQ.

I do not think this one will sell better than Blue Dragon. i will avoid predictions, because I suck at them (and Japanese market trends do not help).
