But they did show some great games and I was quite impressed with move. But were there are shocks? Any megatons? Not really, just some nice showings

Love the Twisted Metal music.

Well, they showed of an assload of games.  Their issue, like usual, was all the filler  They got rid of the sales talk this time, but they still had too many stupid montages, and they were pimping too many multiplats.  They should've shown off another exclusive or two instead, like MotorStorm: Apocalypse or the Last Guardian.  Or Agent, where ever the hell that is.

I'd give them an 8/10.  Great content, shitty presentation.  Nintendo still wins.  They get a 9.5.  They were showing new game after new game after new game.  Nothing but games!  And I swear the showed a game for every IP they own.  Microsoft gets like a 5/10.  A few cool demos, but everything else was crappy Kinect games.

I preferred the MS show but then I am biased towards the 360 which explains that. The Sony show was slicker but way to long and to many montages. I bugged out of the Nintendo show not long in but did enjoy the big man he certainly knows how to command audience unfortunately the guy from Zelda didnt, Bugger if I then end up at the Sony show to almost see the same game but in HD and this for me is the problem with the Move it is just too similar to the Wii but thats me.

I think like Microsoft if Sony can get people interested it will be good news for both platforms. Sony pushed the 3D thing very hard but for me that is Jam tomorrow and although they were providing some good teasers for 3D the cost of entering this market means it will remain niche for a while to come.

Well atleast the PS3 has games comming, unlike the Xbox where you can expect a great variety of family friendly games and whooping 3 exclusives that were announced years before with one of them having as much as teaser trailer.

What does counts = games (or atleast interesting hardware, which is 3DS, not Move, not Kinect). Sony had the same ammount of games as Ninty, but Nintendo games are new and interesting IP's, while most Sony games are sequels (which is good, but less surprising). Microsoft had almost nothing on that front (exclusives).

Gabe newell coming on stage made it all worth it

I didnt get the Portal 2 part. Isnt Portal 1 already on PS3 in the Orange Box?

So why bring Gabe there just to tell you that Portal 2 is coming to PS3 (duh)? Or did I miss something?
