This is really only a bad move if you've had the first game and deleted/lost your save.

Darth, you don't want to grind too much. Your avatar and party will be reset to lv 35 in WKC2.

It sort of makes sense for people to finish the game for story reasons, plus most of the stuff you have in WKC1 will transfer over to the second game. Also to note, your GR also transfers over so grinding isn't necessarily a waste, and plus I'm guessing Level-5 wanted to give new players a fairer advantage. Think about it for a sec. But anyways, I'm glad that WKC2 is shaping up to be better than the first one
i'm not sure about this decision since I quit the game after a few hours...the battleas were just too easy but frustrating and the story was kinda boring along with the voice acting...but if they revamp gameplay and graphics to the second one's standard then maybe it's worth a look, but it certainly sucks for those who maybe beat the game but lost their data due to any number of reasons
