Yes. There have actually been 19 perfect games. The most recent was this season, Dallas Braden (Oakland A's) against the Tampa Bay Rays.

...sorry, couldn't resist being a smartass :P In terms of videogames, there is no such thing as an objectively perfect game IMO. However games can be "perfect" to individual people though, as Metroid Prime and Zelda: Ocarina of Time are perfect games to me.

what about the saints at the superbowl?

Nothing is perfect, everything can be improven, so therfore it cannot be considered "perfect".
It also has to have everyone who got it liked the game, and if there is this one person who didn't like it, it isn't perfect either.

There is a perfect game for each person, there is no universal perfect game.

No, no matter how good they are you can always find some minor lack or something to improve, the matter is not to make a perfect games but to make every time a better one.

Yes, it's called............bah.......never mind.

In all seriousness, every game has flaws, but perfection is in the eye of the beholder, not necessarily based on fact. In such case, several games were "perfect" to me.

Heavy Rain. Gosh!

this thread is off railed

also after thinking it a little I came to the conclussion that the only perfect games are the ones you loved and are perfect for you.
so there are thousands of perfect games that sleep in gamer's souls, and when someone thinks the game gets boring wants something new, you know it was just fashion, a game that simply passed because it was the newest, perfect games are games you always feel like replaying

You obviously have never played Water Warfare for the Wii.
