Forums - Gaming Discussion - ILLUMINATI IN VIDEO GAMES, have you noticed???

Oh Man the NWO/Illuminati.

Such great fiction for stories but movements that get behind such conspiracies really scare me. The NWO is just a overly simplistic way of describing very complex interactions at higher levels. Its also used to attack the most bizarre of things ranging from Evolution to a "North American Super Highway". Its not that People like Alex Jones are completely useless. Everyone once in a while he will pick on a legitimate local issue and help effect change for the better. Its that when they are wrong and that is most of the time they spread FUD that reinforces anti social tendencies.

There are a lot of proponents of such theories but their theories range just as wildly and even their conclusions are just as different. Peter Joseph/Alex Jones, David Icke/Aaron Russo. Some of these groups encourage illegal activities among their listeners like the "freeman/sovereign movements".

The one thing I have noticed is that all of these groups blame all of the worlds problem on a few people. Earthquakes/Hurricanes don't happen HAARP causes them and so forth. Many vocal people in these groups honestly believe what they say Willie Nelson, Jesse Ventura, KRS-One and so forth. It doesn't make them right. In fact the amount of ignorance they spread is alarming and dangerous. But then I guess it feels better if you believe that Global Warming proponents are green nazis trying to reduce the population by 90%. Everything is destined to be controlled by satanists who put up Georgia Stones and the US is planning to set up concentration camps across the US to kill a lot of people. Never mind the target dates constantly shift for these. Never mind that these theories have been recycled since 20's and even before.

Excuse me I got to watch out for water vapor.....errr I meant chemtrails.

None of that is true. There's two canonical interpretations of Hell.

1. Hell is a place of fire and brimstone and darkness where you're alone and burninng by yourself for all eternity.

2. Hell is Hades, a place where the impue go to partake in an eternal rest until God calls them up in judgment day. This version of Hell is basically like sleeping for a billion years.

That's all.

Actually he is kind of right (even though I believe he is depicting the Muslim view of Hell rather than the Christian).

"The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." (Rev 20:12)
Hints at different levels/lengths of punishment.

Also, not everyone may burn in Hell forever:

"And someone came to Him and said, 'Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?'" (Matt 19:16)
Hints that eternal life is something you obtain, it's not the default state of man to live forever.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Rev 20:10)
This passage tells us that Satan and his powerful allies will be tormented forever.

"Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." (Rev 20:14-15)
Here it's probably the same lake, but there's no mention of eternity when the fate of ordinary humans is described. These people might burn up and get annihilated instead of burn and suffer in eternity.

Also, you could have a combination of the two ("Hell" and "Hades"):

Human dies -> first ends up in Hades in wait of Judgement day (first death) --> if he's not righteous he then ends up in the fiery lake of Hell (second death) to either be destroyed, burn for a while, or burn forever if he's really evil or accepted The Mark of the Beast.

The problem with using Revelations as a source of Biblical canon is that it's not written by any of the Apostles and it's difficult to take any of it literally. But sure, we'll go with this.

"The dead were judged according to what they had done" does not necessarily imply that there was different levels of punishment, just that their deeds were all taken into consideration.

"Eternal life" in the New Testament is taken to mean passage into paradise - unless you take the Hades interpretation of Hell to be soething like an endless sleep equivalent to death, which makes a certain amount of sense. Still, that doesn't actually counter what I said.

Yes, it does, though whether or not that includes bad people not worthy to get into Heave-

Listen

I'm not sure where you're presenting an alternative to my explanantions of Hell

Im not sure either if it's an alternative, but I wanted to address the eternity part and the combo part (first death could be to die from Earthly life and end up in Hades, second death is to end up in real Hell, in which case Hades actually wouldn't really be "a Hell", only a temporary repository for the dead):

And you disagreed with the guy above by saying "none of that is true" when those different punishment levels in Hell actually might not contradict with anything you then wrote.

The green: Im a little lost.

The amount of whoha that goes on about all these "secret" societies is incrediable.I mean, all these videos showing "proof" of people doing satanic things, who really cares.I remember a hilarious part of the arrivals where someone said that the devil had told darwin what to do.I mean, can religous people not accept facts?

What facts?

evoloution for a start?

evolution has been scientifically debunked!

haha lol, you are joking right?

Theres no way science can prove evolution.

Yes thats probably because no theory can be absaloutley proven.Even if evoloution was wrong,it doesnt mean to say creationism is right.Evoloution has evidence to back it up and if they found any contradicting evidence then they would have to scrap that theory and make a new one.Creationism on the other hand, does not have evidence to support it ,but instead has a 2000 year old book.

"They will know heghan belongs to the helghast"

"England expects that everyman will do his duty"

"we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"

It's actually a 1400 year old book with scientific facts in it and multiple signs.

did not notice it.

I believe the Illuminati still exists (opposed from the old bavarian Illuminati) and yes I have seen them being used in games. This world is controlled by a minority of people and I'm not talking kings and queens here.

Lets be realistic about this. Religion was created to give answers to questions that people didn't have answers to because of their lack of science.

Daddy why is the sky blue and birds can fly?

Well son it's because god made it that way.

We have become enlightened since then and know why those things actually happen.

What scientific facts are there in the bible? Yes, there are some historical facts in it but that is about all.

Exactly. We live in an aristocracy that most people are too blind to see.
