Forums - Sony Discussion - When will Sony start bundling Uncharted 2 with their PS3s???

Why dont they ever think of these marketing strategies? I think I should start marketing for Sony.

But with GoW III, parents won't buy this for their children, with that rating it will severely limit sales

O, i get your point, maybe they should make both bundles, one with LBP and one with GOW3. But seriously, why is it that Sony does not use better marketing strategies, they should have made a custom Gow3 themed PS3 with the game's release remember how the custom final fantasy 13 bundle sold in japan? Yes, just simply changing color would give the PS3 a boost in sales. A white PS3 slim, anyone would die to get one of these. There are many killer marketing strategies available.

i will say in my opinion that one flaw that sony has is their marketing strategies and this is where microsoft succeds in this department

The thing is, Sony still doesn't really want people buying hardware, they want them buying software. So, things like a God of War console might increase hardware sales, but as it might be people buying second PS3s, because they really like the better looking console, that won't lead to increased software sales

That's a promotional bundle. I'm talking about making every PS3 come with it. Kinda like how Wii sports is in NA and EU.

That's a promotional bundle. I'm talking about making every PS3 come with it. Kinda like how Wii sports is in NA and EU. 

Wii sports is to Wii =/= to Uncharted 2 is to PS3.

The PS3 has a lot of other games to showcase the system such as GoW3, KZ2, Lbp, Heavy Rain and so many more.

Really the only PS3 game that should come with every PS3 is LBP.. everything else is not very child friendly.

they should release an uncharted 1 + 2 bundle for xmas.

bundling older games is a good move just like what microsoft does. the 360+ batman/pure was a great deal

But it will still mostly convince a large number of people who do not own the console to buy it which will eventually increase the software sales over time
