How do you compare Sony's first party games with your favorite video game companies games?
Are they impressive?
Not bad?
Horrible?
Even in the same league as your favorite games?

Not even comparable. Nintendo has a spread approach, with games for everyone. Pure diversion, replayability and accessibility are the strong points of the first party offers made by Nintendo, while Sony and Microsoft focus on the 15-30 year old male, providing spectacular film-based experience, story driven games, but with less sheer fun.
mmm.... well they kinda put big efford, and little big planet looks pretty fun, and u2 looks eye pleasing, and modnation racers looks fun too, but there's nothing like ninty
Sony games have a unique feel. I can't describe it. There are only a few Sony franchises that I LOVE. Nintendo and surprisingly, Microsoft have franchises that are nearer to my heart for whatever reason. I don't know. I guess I'll say this: When Sony is good, they're very good. When they're mediocre, Sony fans still love them. And that's O.K.

That's insane, I was about to type something exactly like that! High five!
Sony's games have really taken off as the cream of the crop this gen... but let's not kid ourselves here.
They've got a long way to go before they reach Zeebo quality.
Sony > Nintendo > Microsoft
as far as 1st party titles goes (this gen)
EDIT: I take that back. Just looked up some games from this gen again and I came to a better conclusion:
Sony >> Microsoft > Nintendo
(this gen)

Well im kinda turning into a Sony and Nintendo fan... but personally i would rate them as not quite as good with better variety. Still excellent though. This is with only having so far played a couple of them of course ;)
Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)
