the trend question is really hilarious, its like asking whether pigs can fly.
since ff13 got a big lead in Japan, its very obvious that ff13 will sell well on the PS3, because FF is synonymous to Playstation.

we'll just have to see because the 360 has higher buying power meaning more people have that console who buy more games, who altogether could increase ff13 sales on the 360, don't forget that many people who played final fantasy games probably by now has a 360 and they probably love their achievements and they probably prefer disc art unlike ps3 where its just one disc, the 360 for $60 bucks gets you 4 or 5 discs so i mean for the 360 version you definitely get more discs for the money at a cost of convenience without loading it to the hard-drive,

I hope this is one of those games that fools the pre-order data. and just sells a crap load on both.

Well judging by preorders, the PS3 version will destroy the 360 version in sales even in NA... so yeah, PS3 version will deffintaly win this one. Because of the Japanese advantage Im seeing the game doing 5 million on the PS3 LT, and 2 million on the 360... sure, heavy bundling could skew the numbers, but seeing that its a JRPG, I doubt that MS will push those bundles that long in the west, especially with the new F3/ODST bundle
