Your suggestion is even worse than them taking over Heavenly Sword, Egyptian Kratos with same voice and different tattoos is the worst and lamest way of milking the GoW franchise I can imagine.

I'd love it to be a new IP. I have no idea what I'd want from them, but I'm sure that no matter what they set out to do, it will be good!

That'd undoubtedly be awesome, since Norse mythology has great elements for a game and Sony Santa Monica (Obviously) know how to make epic scale battles and great hack n' slash games. Just think about a boss battle with Fenrir or Jörmungadr and the idea starts to seem really good, in fact...

However, I think Sony Santa Monica should really try something different, at least for their next project. Something not related to beating the shit out of gods and mythological creatures. They can go back to doing whatever they want with the project after that, but I'd really like a new IP from SSM once in a while...

Somehow, I don't think they want to follow a trilogy based on ancient mythology with another trilogy based on very similar ancient mythology. Also, NO Heavenly Sword. Heavenly Sword was supposed to keep us occupied until God of War III.
