Having played both BOTW amd The Witcher 3, I have to say that BOTW is franchise re-defining, while Witcher 3 is one of the defining titles if the current generation.
Both are great in different areas of their design, but I feel The Witcher 3 was more content packed and offered diversity, with every aspect fully fleshed out and intricate. So it left a bigger impact on me than BOtW, overall.
But there are aspects of BOTW’s gameplay that beat those found in The Witcher 3. But taken as a whole, the latter is simply more fully fleshed out and content/feature packed.
So it gets my vote as one of the generation defining titles.
Hello. I see you were online multiple times since I asked, so do you have the link? I'm really interested, since this site is bad in tracking PC-sales, so I would be certainly not surprised if the two games sold more on PC.
Would you just step the fuck up and get Nioh already?
Stop complaing over shooters not being on my list and go play an actual good game for a change, dammit!
Played a bit of Horizon and I think I'll disable most of the visual stuff on screen (already made it dinamic, but I have test it too littler after that.
There is too much info on screen, I want to explore it by myself, the trail following function I'll still use, but I want to look at a clean screen of that gorgeous world and get to know every corner by myself, like RDR.
Also, I can't wait to be able to tame those horse-like robots, running is not the best way to travel, I need a mount.
I almost bought The Witcher 3 yesterday!
... but then a superior game appreared and I grabbed it, instead.
So, Horizon > The Witcher 3?
Did you get it? Need some info like max players in a match, how many modes, is there a single player campaign and is it fun :P
Did you get it?
Go get Nioh, this is the thing before Horizon.
For Honor sucks!
