Would you say the Switch version is worth the $30 provided I have no access to a PS4/X1/Competent PC?

That is a tough question. I do not think that anybody should substitute the pocket edition for the original, but at the same time I would not tell you to not buy the pocket edition. Pocket Edition is a Story based mobile redesign of XV. It is much more linear , but the pacing/telling of the story is obviously better. The mechanics of the combat system have transferred over surprising well. A lot of things that happen manually in the main game happen automatic here (driving crossing the map)

    I have 3 answers:

    1. If you want to play XV then play the main game.

    2. if switch is the only option you have and you will NEVER have a PS4/XBOX/pc then go for it but at 30 bucks...its hard for "me" to justify that because I have the main game already, the full purchase on mobile is 20 bucks, and you can find a copy of the main game for around that price. If was 20 or under I would say go for it withou question. That extra 10 bucks is up to you.

    3. If you play the switch version but plan on getting a PS4/xbox/pc later then you had better play main game as well! Do not sub pocket edition for real deal.

Thanks for the long response. It is unlikely I'll be owning a PS4, and I do want to give the game a try. Maybe I'll wait til the holidays to see if there's a discount but I'll keep it in my radar.
Does the Pocket Edition contain the music from the main game?

Amidst not so stellar reviews of Star Ocean 5, are you still looking forward to it?

Legend of dragoon is an awful, uninteresting slog of a game and i don't like it

in Sony Discussion 18 hours ago

Legend of Dragoon was never anything other than good. Everything about the game is flawed: additions, magic, item limit, Dragoon, story, characters ( Miranda had a really out of place back story). I still like it though. Btw, LoD does NOT require any grinding. Max level is 60 and both times I played it by the time I got to last dungeon Dart was 45ish. Lv growth is controlled by the fact normal...
