I personally think Devil May Cry 3 was superior in every aspect to God of War, but that's just me. Obviously popular opinion disagrees.

While it is a bit odd they haven't at least started development of GOW3 I think Sony fans are more than willing to wait for the title they've come to know and love. After all, you can't expect all their big hitters to come out the first two years.
