Now, personally, I've never played The Thousand-Year Door (it's really hard to get a hold of!) but I've almost completed Paper Mario and I've fully completed Super Paper Mario.

Personally, I liked Super Paper Mario way more. People complained that it was way too much of a departure from the original two games, but I think that may be what made me love it even more. Also, the zany humor the series is known for was even better and more hilarious in it. Was I the only one who liked Super Paper Mario the most?

They are all amazing games! Not just amazing mind you, but AMAZING games because, most of all, they are fun!

But the second one, thousand year door, is just something else.
It's a Nintendo Masterpiece, like few others.

I own the last 2, only played the wii one so far (will get the first on VC once I'm done with it). so can't really comment besides that I like it a lot so far.

I played it after TTYD, and the wii one wasn't an rpg, so my fav is ttyd

All the three of them are completely amazing, some of the best games I've ever played. Super Paper mario has a great gameplay, the only thing bothering is the long cutscenes aka. reading parts. But all games are really great, 90+ range for me.

Super Paper Mario was amazing. I loved the platforming and the plot twist. It is the best in my mind.

They're all amazing! Paper Mario 64 was so cool when it first came out.
TTYD had the best story and humor. And Super Paper Mario had a great new gameplay element making it different than the other 2.


But my favorite is TTYD because of how long it is and it is just perfect.

TTYD, easily. Though I haven't played the Wii one. The N64 one was marvelous too, though.

I chose Super Paper Mario.

The writing was the best and I was laughing out loud at the jokes.
