Well, I only played a few minutes of Bioshock one on 360 and was bored to tears so I never gave the or IP a second glance. I usually only buy FPS games for MP anyway and it lacked that.

Not hyped at all even though I adored the first one.

My reason for this is due to the fact that Bioshock was an incredible yet self contained experience. It had a clear and resolved ending. It was a perfectly packaged experience. What more can you add to it now, without appearing as if you're adding anything just for the sake of it.

However, I will buy it if reviews shed those fears aside.

Not at all. BioShock is one of the most linear games of this gen.

all the games magazines i've seen anywhere have been full of bioshock 2 :D

and "hype" is created by people like you and me. you want hype? MAKE THE HYPE!

For me its playing as big daddy, which I think is the absolute wrong direction to take this series. That and all the problems they've had getting this game put together. I wish developers understood its ok for your game not to have multiplayer, just make the campaign friggin amazing.

Erm, your phrase only applies to 360/PC users. Bioshock 2 also comes out for the PS3. Let's not make this a 360 vs PS3 thread, we have enough of them already.

Well, if there's something i hate is those 360 vs PS3 wars, so don't worry, and well, since i don't have a ps3 ='( i don't know what game the ps3 crew is playing at the moment. But anyway my point stands, there's hype, it's just not so obvious cause most people is busy playing others games since this is an amazing beginning of year for VG's.

Maybe everyone realized that Bioshock really wasn't as good as they once thought.
