I just finished beating InFamous today in 'Good' mode and it was a really fun game, I never at any point got bored of InFamous. It had a really good ending to the game aswell. I'm actually replaying it again right now but instead in Evil hard mode. I'm surprised that this game only sold 1.3 million deserves double that.

Anyway just wanted to say how good this game is and I can't wait for InFamous 2 :)

(If you don't own it, pick it up, it's a must buy for PS3 owners!)

I had this game since release, but still haven't played it, even though I'd love to. Bloody UK shop send me NTSC american version instead of the european one. On my TV it's really horrible sight, my eyes start to hurt in 5 minutes from that horrible flashing. I'll have to get the platinum edition soon, as I really liked the demo.

It's pretty good and although I see no big faults in the game it just doesn't let me want to play it for more than a few missions until I get bored :(

Nah... it isn't even one of 10 best games on teh system. It's decent but that's all.

It needs both Online Co-op and Online VS mode in the next one, since Online features are becoming the standard.

I would say it is in the top ten for the PS3. Sony makes it difficult because they have many good exclusives. I prefer Uncharted 1 and 2, and LBP but that says more about those games than Infamous. I would call it a must buy if you have a PS3.

Borrowed it from a friend and played it for about an hour. It's pretty fun, well made, but not one of my favorites. But then again I got bored of GTAIV pretty easily so I think it's safe to say sandbox games are not my thing.

THANK YOU GILGAMESH!!! Some ppl call me crazy, but I consider this my 3rd favorite game of all time. I've played through it once on good and another on evil, and STILL when i see gameplay clips of it on internet videos and such i just want to play it all over again! I seriously loved this game- the gameplay is sick with awesome powers; the story is freagin sweet with cool animations/cutscenes, and the characters are cool. My #1 game is MGS4, #2 game is Uncharted 2 (though U2 is very close to being #1, esp with the multiplayer), and #3 is inFAMOUS. Just for the record, I've owned a sega genesis, ps1, dreamcast, and now ps3 with 17 ps3 games; plus i've played many of the best games on ps2, xbox, etc.. Someone in the past claimed that since inFAMOUS is so high on my list then i haven't played many games but i don't understand why that guy would find it so hard to believe. The game is excellent in almost every way.
Being fair, i think they did make a mistake in not creating some form of extra mode (i.e. challenge mode) in inFAMOUS. Although, after beating the game on good, all i wanted to do was play again on evil, so i ended up spending about 40 or so hours on this game and loved every second so it still was more than worth the 60 bones. So anyways, I agree 100% with u gilgamesh. I know 3 other ppl who have played the game and all of them were hooked and loved it. One of them was an "all 360" guy and was playing it on my brothers ps3 and the guy couldn't get enough haha. Anyways, i've also been real disappointed in its sales, certainly does deserve to sell double or triple what it's sold so far. sux, wish ppl would support Sony's exclusives, or not even that, just support good games.

Hey man, u can't just play the first hour of the game haha. The game only gets (really) good once u start getting more powers. U eventually get the ability to fly/levitate in the air with ur electricity, get electricity rockets, etc. Not to mention the fact that the story gets better and better as u go on. For "best story" for a game in 2009,  I would probably actually choose inFAMOUS, even over U2. I would say give it a little more of a try, I think ull like it. the gameplay with all ur powers just feels amazing.

I agree! Completed the game on good and also on evil and the change in the city is pretty amazing! I really enjoyed the game, although i have 1 blast shard left to find that i cannot find anywhere so that's pretty frustrating lol!
