Are you serious? It's the worst English I've ever heard and I'm living in Germany. Maybe it's just funny for those, who have German as their mother tongue.
By the way he's going to take some English lessons since the German media has criticised him a lot.

All I can say is... I'm damn glad that for some reason the rest of the world is bending over backwards for my language even though it's like the third most spoken language at best...

Cause I can't learn languages at all.

If I was some big time politician and they wanted me to preside over some Mandarian or Spanish speaking meeting, you could give me 10 years to prepare and I still wouldn't be able to say a line of coherent language.

Well it can't be the worst English you've ever heard because I've heard a lot worse in Germany. Language skills there are really, really, really bad...

Ozzy Osbourne.

He's natively English and far less understandable than this guy.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

It's the third most common first language in the world, yes. But I'm pretty sure it's the most commonly spoken language. Understandable: it's spoken by the world's richest and most powerful country, and it's fairly easy to learn (ignoring some grammar and pronunciation here and there).

He has the worst articulation I've ever heard. I'm not talking about his word choice though.

The EU Commission doesn't represent Europe at all, no one does.

Finally, the Commission provides some external representation for the Union, alongside the member states and the Common Foreign and Security Policy, representing the Union in bodies such as the World Trade Organisation. It is also usual for the President to attend meetings of the G8.

Firstly, the EU is not Europe. Secondly, none of the Commissioners (nor the so-called President) have any democratic legitimacy, so they don't even speak for EU citizens (although they certainly speak for their own corrupt institutions). And finally, CFSP fortunately remains largely irrelevant.

But he has figurative meaning and this is why he's representing the EU imo.

Yeah, I meant to say first spoken language.  I did originally actually, accidently closed out the post... then well... that one came out.

I've actually been told English is ungodly hard to learn compaired to other languages... well because a lot of the conjugations make no sense.

Ah who am I to say though, the only lanaguage i came remotley close to learning was latin.
