I bet you were thinking that everybody would jump you after you said that but...
I kind of agree.

Metroid and Metal Gear are the most likely. Metroid for subpar popularity (but that's nothing that a rebirth of the series wouldn't fix), and Metal Gear for running out of relevant story/Kojima-involvement.

Well the Nintendo franchises are typically: 1. design a game. 2. make sure it plays very well. 3. make up a story.
That can go on forever.
Metal Gear has already covered the present, the future, the past, the past again, and the future. Too many more trips to the past/future, and Marty McFly is going to have to come in and reboot the whole franchise. It's a great series (probably my favorite) but it has to end.
Would've been a tougher choice if Metal Gear was left out.
Metal Gear, the series is at its end.
Metroid and Final Fantasy are closer, but neither of those are dying any time soon (even though they say FFXIII mat be the last really Final Fantasy). I would say Metroid is in danger of dying, but we'll see how Other M does first.
Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon will be around as long as Nintendo is around and probably some time after that.
Mario no doubt

I don't have a problem with admitting it. I used to be a fan of mario, but Nintendo has over-used him big time. He is dead to me.
Pokemon because they are basically enslaved animals that fight for you. Once PETA gets on them pokemon will be done for.
Honestly... how many more Pokemon can they create?
