Easily Metroid or Metal Gear

After Other M, we really don't know if we'll get any more metroid. The Prime series probably won't see another entry, and unless other M sells mega millions, we might only see another 2d on the handhelds.

It might just take a hiatus like it did during the N64 era, but that would probably constitute "dead" until it comes back to life.

Metal Gear will retire as soon as Kojima wants it to, but Nintendo will ensure that those franchises last for decades. Final Fantasy has a similar ability to endure.

Of course it will be Zelda, the freakies japos are tired of the franchise since Majora´s Mask, as they are a whole milenium ahead of us in gaming, the same path will be done by the western societies.

1. Maybe Japan, but look worldwide sales. Twilight Princess sells 5.46 mill, while Majora's Mask 3.36 mill and Thw Wind Waker 4.55 mill.

2. The estructure of the game will be change for Zelda Wii.
