Looks almost as good as KZ2. I'd expect the PC version to look way better so I hope these are console shots.

Those are not 360 screen shots. The 360 can't anti-alias smooth lines like those shots feature. It probably isn't PS3 because developers are just now figuring out anti-aliasing techniques that would look that clean. So what does that leave . . . PC.

The screenshots of Rage featured in GameInformer are from the PS3. That is where they discuss the PC's superior anti-aliasing ability. They also mention that the PS3 is more powerful yet harder to program for than the 360, but I think everybody knows that by now.

Guess I'm the only person that had Jak 2 and 3 mixed with KZ2 come to mind...

Weird... but that's what came to me.

Not quit there with Killzone and Uncharted, but looks good, the game actually looks a bit different for a John Carmack Game, not Dark enough, Oh Well I hear DOOM 4 has been in development for a while, I'm sure he will make it up there.

Would have had a much huger impact if this was designed with 720/ps4 in mind... looks good though.. Ill wait for higher res official screenshots/movies till I make up my mind on this one...

The only thing stopping me from saying these are PC shots is the fact that the resolution on them is pathetic. Only a console game would be shown in such small resolutions. Hell DOOM 3 back in the day was shown in 2.5k x 1.8k or something like that resolution. However the AA does indeed make it possible that these were from the PC because consoles can barely handle AA at all.

I have learned not to trust in any so called '' in-game'' pics. Too many times there has been so big difference between them and actual gameplay. New in game vids from Rage would be great.
