Well it is well deserved, and its kind of a slap in the face since MS turned down this game to begin with. talk about irony.

@kowenicki- weren't you the who once said to me at one time "Credit where Credit is due" that time it was about Halo, which we all know is popular which is why i said it was to be expected, however in this situation its the underdog game that came up on top sales wise this time. im just sayin' theres no need for comments like "pointless... but yeah congrats... or whatever" that also can but counted as an act of trolling.

i dont know who your refering to who said "shitty" but coming back with a post like that makes you no better even if it was less vulgar.

Cause trouble? im not the one who was obviously coming off salty because a ps3 exclusive outsold a 360 exclusive ... for ONCE i might add, if anyones causing trouble here man, its you and you alone.

Well this matters sorta, mainly because this effectively makes Valkyria Chronicles the best selling JRPG on HD consoles(other than FFXIII which hasnt released yet in US/EU). VC was toted heavily in these forums as being top notch JRPG and im glad to see it reflect a bit in sales.

Check archives how many times LO have been used by fanboys to downplay sales of VC.

You can't really say it's the best selling JRPG on HD systems as FF13 easily surpassed it (and LO's sales) even though it has only been released in one region and on one system. FF13 became the best selling JRPG on HD consoles the first day it was released in Japan.

You can't say that not being released in NA/EU would disqualify it as that actually makes what it has done so far even more impressive. Once it's released overseas it will have even greater sales as well.

ALSO for a comparison
LO 0,46 in NA 21 mil userbase
VC 0,48 in NA 12 mil userbase and valkyria is selling alongside with ps3 in america now

Still, i don't ever think you said something like this before in a thread where a 360 game outsold a ps3 and gave a response like that, and if you did i must have missed it, if thats the case for what its worth sorry about that, but you do have... a history...

I agree most of the time they are infact pointless, however not this one, carl had a good meaning to post about this because VC did more then all of us expected.

It only becomes pointless if we all expect big games to do big things, like FFXIII, Halo games, Uncharted games the works, but when Niche games like VC do great they deserve praise for it, sevi?
