Forums - Sales Discussion - Will No More Heroes be big in Japan for PS3/360?

Not a chance...maybe on both handled but still...

I'm not sure how it'll do. It has a chance to do some "decent" sales vs. the Wii original.

The main difference will probably be the lack of motion controls. Other than that from what I've seen it should look slightly better on the 360/PS3 compared to the Wii version.

One advantage the 360 version has is that it will be uncensored (like the Wii USA version). In Japan the Wii version was censored and the PS3 version will also be censored like the Wii ver. I have the 360 version pre-ordered and I'm looking forward to picking it up when it's released. (I already have the Wii version)

- It's a late port.
- It's an inferior late port.
- The sequel is coming soon to a different platform.
- It will not get anywhere near the push Bayonetta did.

I'm not sure how much that will affect the release in Japan. The game is coming out in NA/Europe pretty soon, but from what I can see there is no current planned released date for NMH2 in Japan. Who knows when it's coming out...

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

The sequel on Wii looks better than tgis HD port tbh.....

Gaming make me feel GOOD!

If they would release the HD ports for a budget price in Europe, I may buy it, although I already played the game on the Wii.

Take a look at my photos on flickr

I doubt it will do good numbers... tbh Im really wondering why the hell are they even doing this port. It worked great on the Wii, and this late port will do terrible numbers IMO.

Honestly, I think a PSP port would've made more sense, especially since it seems targeted at the Japanese market mainly. Hell, PSP ports of Muramasa, Little King's Story and Arc Rise Fantasia would work well too.

Not likely, however I hope the sequel does better than the HD version, This game is no the same without wiimote or some variant thereof. No amount of Analog stick up and down can mimick the wii remote for rechargeing purposes.

this sounds terrifically like modern warfare reflex, yet that has performed fairly well on a console most non wii gamers wouldnt have thought it would have

and before its said, yes i know thats because is a call of duty game, where as this isnt...so i know its not the same thing at all. plus the HD crowd on the whole is fairly prejudiced towards the wii, and likely i think many people will write it off purely because it originated on the wii.

i think it will perform en par with the wii version at least perhaps a fews 10s of thousands more in japan alone

what i hope to happen, is that it will flop, and then there is finally evidence that these niche games that supposedly dont sell cos theyre on the wii also wouldnt sell on the HD consoles

Muramasa: the Demon Blade

No it wont

Not big, but I guess both versions combined will sell more than the Wii version.
