that is the boldest most ignorant and childish statement iv'e ever heard. how can a server be better for multiplayer, unless the other server has bugs and lags which the psn doesn't. psn is possibly a stronger server then xbl power wise. mag 256 players and the server doesn't lag. But still a console can't be better in multiplayer that is just a retarted statement.

The Ps3 has more features, but 360 it's cheaper. If you like to see movies ps3 is absolutley the best choice....se also what you prefer between x360 and ps3 exclusives.

PS3 of course wins hands down in hardware spec and graphic compare to Xbox (I cannot imagine to play FFXIII on Xbox, yesterday I just watch the holyshit moment of Snow riding Shiva bike rescuing Lighting and Hope CG in 1080p), and it has a much varied genres of games (FPS, RPG, MMO, Adventure, Hack and Slash).

But if you only live and breath Halo, then get the other console. If not, PS3, save yourself the trouble of yelling at phone to send in your console after it red ring.

i like my ps3... but i don't hate my 360.

the 360 online is better than the ps3, but for what i use it for the ps3 is functional enough (really, private partying is the only thing missing). so in the end, i didn't end up renewing my live account.

maybe you should think about what you'd like better down the line - natal or move?

Ive got PS3 and 360 i dont use PS3 online much i just dont think its as good XBL but at the end of the day its what games u prefer

Alan Wake (i don't know about this one i haven't played it)

Mass Effect 1/ 2 (one of the best RPGs) (on PC as well if you can actually run it )

Splinter Cell : Conviction (a Great stealth game with a unique style of story telling)  (Same as above on PC)

Halo 3 , Halo ODST , Halo Reach (its Halo , its great)

Crack Down 1 / 2 (Crackdown is a great sandbox game which will take a lot of your time)

Gears Of War 1 / 2 / 3 (Gears is an excellent shooter , one of the best this gen )

Lost Odyssey (if there is a game that you should buy a 360 for, its this)

Kameo ( Great launch title and platformer, pretty underrated)

Banjoo Kazooie (like the above)

Perfect Dark (Joana Dark is sexy , is that good enough reason for you ?, oh and did i mention the game is fun? )

Infinite Undiscovery (like every other JRPG , it got low scores but its a good JRPG!)

Forza (simply one of the best racers this gen, the community options more than make up for it)

Project Gotham Racing (its a arcadey good racer)

Lips (a Karaoke game)

Ninety Nine Nights 1 / 2 (a beat em up game simillar to Dynasty Warriors)

(this list might look longer because i own a PS3 unlike 360, and i am basing these based on my collection and games i'm looking forward to)

Demon's Souls (Hands down the best RPG this gen, if there is a game that you should buy a PS3 for its this)

Valkyria Chronicles (a great JRPG with colorful characters and storyline)

Killzone 2 (Great shooter , very addicting online)

Uncharted 1 / 2 (it won over 30 awards , and for the most part it deserved it)

Resistance 1 / 2 (unlike other shooters, this one is more old school, like doom and quake)

White Knight Chronicles 1 / 2 (a Level 5 RPG, which all the charm you'd like in their games, though its not Story heavy and is lighthearted)

Yakuza 3 (if you liked shenmue this is a no brainer)

Heavy Rain (one of these games that everyone should experience at one point in their life!)

3D Dot Game hero ( talk to Euphoria14)

Buzz! (great trivia game with friends and only with friends)

Disgaea (too much time sucker, this will get you over the 100+ hours mark)

Eye Of Judgment ( this game is very unique in the way you play it, its like Yugioh but with real cards , you collect these cards from local store and use them with the camera to play)

Gran Turismo (you'd wonder when is this going to release thats the joy of it jk )

Folklore (its not as good as many claim to be , its very repetitive)

God Of War (yes this game deserves all the buzz it gets)

Hot Shot Golf (one of my favorite games on PS3 , very addicting and very underrated)

Infamous (i didn't expect it to be this deep, its the best super hero game since Spider Man 2, its even better)

Little big Planet (a cute platformer with user generated levels, it basically a game that never ends)

Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the patriots (one of the best games of all time)

MAG (if you are into online FPS, this is for you, its very community heavy)

SOCOM (same as above but TPS)

MLB The Show (simply the richest and most polished Baseball game ever)

Motorstorm (an Offroad racer, kinda like Excite Truck but without the track deformation and stunts, and is more competitive)

Ratchet and Clank series (if you'd want my opinion on it, i'd say skip Tools of Destruction and get Quest for booty and Crack in time , Tools is too much aiming for "EPIC!" it doesn't work on platformers, and Crack in time rivals Mario Galaxy as the best Platformer this gen)

Singstar ( a Karaoke game)

i perfer a pc

but id go with the ps3

1) reliable
2) quiet
3) great exclusives
4) free online, true xbl is better but aside from cross chat theres not much over psn
5) free web browser so if you want you can watch porn on your ps3!!!
6) if your a movie watching guy theres bluray and can also play dvds, movies to download off of psn store and you can download movies off of the web browser

but number 5 is the most important reason :)

Differences

XBL has a few features PSN does not have (yet) but it also costs about 60€ a year.. PSN is free

If you like FPS's alot go for Xbox 360, if you like alot of Genre's or don't like FPS's go for PS3

if Online is important to you, go Xbox 360 If story and graphics are important to you, go PS3

note: Both systems have all the above points but they just do a few things better then the other..

If you want to watch movies on it, go PS3 (blu-ray player)

if you want to split-screen game alot with friends Xbox 360 has a few more games (mostly split-screen online) PS3 has a fair share to though.

The reliability is about the same but the PS3 slim is probably just a bit more reliable.. both consoles have a small failure rate though (if bought new atleast)
