Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Remakes are a touchy subject. You gotta make sure they're good or a lot of people who like the original get pissed off. RE1 remake is a good example of a remake that's perfect. MGS Twin Snakes is an example of a remake that pissed people off with all the matrix stuff etc.

SE probably has made more ports (lets redo the same content...on a different console), more rehashes (lets just redraw everything), and more unimaginative games out in the last year or so then i can remember.
How many FF/DQ remakes have they done over the last several years with the PS1, PS2, GBA, DS???
I distinctly remember them virtually redoing every single FF/DQ game from the 80s and 90s.

polish =/= quality.
Also, look at what they did with Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of TIme (for the Wii).
