Wait, it's not the same an order that a preorder. The retailers are going to have 500k copies of that game in shelves at least, but doesn't mean that they have already this number of preorders.

Like......Japanese games?

We've seen the few new Vita RPGs do decent sales and enter the top 10. It needs big brand name games to sell and move hardware.

Yes, japanese games.
RPGs? Yes, it have some... but i dont see Tales of R R a big game that sell system, and Ragnarok too.... it can be a great game, but not "hardware pusher". Vita needs big franchises, and exclusive games like a New Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter, Yakuza, MGS, Kingdom Hearts... New IPs are great too, but the chance of "not going foward" is super low, especially in Japan.
