1 million for Final Fantasy XIII-2 would be a massive bomba. Less than 1.4 million lifetime sales and I'm being very generous is unacceptable.

Final Fantasy X --- 2,323,463
Final Fantasy X-2 --- 1,960,937

Final Fantasy XIII --- 1,904,313
Final Fantasy XIII-2 --- x (around 1,600,000)

FFXIII-2 isn't doing over 700K in Japan so 1.4 Million is out of the question.

But ultimately XIII-2 won't be a bomb frankly as it will make a profit overall.

Ninokuni is the massive bomba here.

Dragon Quest IX with just half a million units sold would have made profit too so that's not a good barometer.

 And yep, Ni no Kuni (unfortunately) seems to have zero awareness there, in fact the DS version had a very underwhelming reception. My only hope is since Inazuma Eleven Go is not in the charts either maybe their (Level 5) games aren't available for pre-order there.
