Maybe that some people that didn't have a wii were thinking of getting one but saw the red wii and suddenly went hungry for it as well as Mario collection since it was the mario's 25th Anniversary.

From what I've been told 345pt should be in the 225 - 300k range. But the Japanese preview has it at 140 - 150k. Which one is more accurate ?

You really cant judge that way it depends from game to game. Usually the higher the preorders, the less accurate the prediction. 350 points for instance is definitely 100k FW. but whether it's 120k, 150k, or 200k well that's hard to guess. Usually PS3 games are much more inclined to being preordered, so it means you have to lower the FW numbers. But again it doesnt apply to all games so GT5 could not be the typical PS3 game.

What i've heard is that GT4 had somewhat 800-900 points and debuted to around 700k. So 350 points is probably around 130-150k preorders(which would correspond to around 225k first week). So the preview should be spot on on the preorders imo

Besides todays big mario boost, there really hasn't been much worth noting past weeks, but I keep seeing these same comments. CONTROL YOURSELF.
