Holy ****.  Guys, Pokemon comes out in a week.  MH 3rd comes out in a few MONTHS.  I magine if this game had sales of pokemon white plus half of pokemon black lol. Would be odd to see.

I can't imagine that. By the launch Pokèmon will have near 3500 points, record-breaking result. MHP3 should do stellar too but to me Pokèmon is doing just too much, 2.5m opening looks possible to me, even with 1.5m preorders according to the Japan preview.

Both games are doing fantastically well. I dont know by how much MH3P will accelerate, but it is looking great till now! 1300 points, with 3 months to go. It will easily double that number, but it might actually have Pokemon like preorders which would be amazing!

I would be very mipressed if MH3P tops DQ9's preorder numbers which is a little over 2900 if I remember it correctly.

if it keeps doing 25-30 pts each day, it'll reach 3000 pts!

I thought Pokémon Black / White already was the most preordered game ever in Japan, always according to Comgnet, but I was wrong.

Checking all the old data I have Dragon Quest VIII still leads by a huge margin since six days before its release (that's the most updated data available) it had 4285pt.

Wait till Dragon Quest X is available for pre-order! I imagine that game will sell over 1,200,000 week one.

There's little chance for that IMHO but I would have never said preorders would be that high without a release date, so I'll just wait and see.
