Do you really think it's going to be a 2011? I think it's coming before that!

Why do PS3 owners have anything to do with this?! It's the cool thing to hate right now. |
I should have been more specific
a certain group of PS3 owners have been doing this, not all of them or that would have had to include me too ofcourse
As for its the cool thing to hate right now, I disagree, there is nothing cool about hating FF13

Ar Tonelico 3?
I think it could go either way. Looking at the difference in the Japan and NA release for Atelier Rorona which seems like the most similar recent release that will probably be handled by the same company if Ar Tonelico 3 had the same delay as Atelier Rorona it wouldn't be here until next year. The previous games also took a long time to make it to NA.
On the other hand, previous Ar Tonelicos have built a fanbase in NA and some small games out of Japan take less time to localize than Atelier Rorona such as 3D Dot Game Heroes.
I think it has a decent chance, I guess I would call it 50/50

I think it's depending on the publisher. NIS has put a lot of work into getting out Last Rebellion very close to the Japanese release. They seem to priortize and focus on individual projects. It'll depend on when Trinity Universe and Atelier Rorona come out in Summer.
requesting links for Ar Tonelicos

I have Both the Japanese versions of White Knight Chronicles slandered and EX Edition and Final Fantasy XIII and both are Awesome Games they are to very different Games White Knight Chronicles is a very Old-SKOOL JRPG with about a 32 hour Story Mode then it is all abut Online Questing which is awesome and very challenging at times the US Version is based on the EX Edition. Final Fantasy XIII is a more epic Story with much higher production values and is 100+ offline Game with one player only and to all the people who say rhey took things out because of the XBOX 360 it is more likely they did it to be able to release a Directors Cut in 6-8 Months like they did with Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XII LEVEL 5 and SQUARE-ENIX are awesome Developers and both games are just as fun as each other to play.
Japanese Pop Culture Otaku
I will say this again (since my first post has been quoted many times, by many people).
I don't hate that it went multiplatform. While my jaw hit the floor out of shock while watching the Microsoft conference (why wouldn't I, up to that point it was always a PS3 exclusive, the biggest one). I did not become mad about it hitting the 360.
However I am mad that the game had waited and anticipated for 5 years is not even half the game it was suppose to be. Square had chopped up FFXIII due to game volume and overall balance.
Even if the 360 version had nothing to do with it, when has there been a Final Fantasy game that was toned down because it had to much stuff in it. Entire areas potentially full of characters to interact with or lush vibrant environments to fight epic battles in, were cut from the PS3 creation.
Just to clearify again, I don't hate that it's also on the 360. I'm mad that Final Fantasy XIII isn't even half the game it was suppose to be.

That's a bit of missplaced hate, or probably you just don't know that almost all FF games have a lot of cut out content when they are released.
Did you know that most of the story in FFX-2 was meant to be part of X?
Or how they changed more than half of the story in mid-development in FFXII?
Also, did you know that FFVI was meant to have 3 different worlds instead of the final 2 that it got? There was supposed to be a world between Balance and Ruin.
Did you also know that somewhere along development they completely took out the Esper's home world and some 10 more Espers that you could get in there.
A game as massive as FF always get tons of content cut out of it in the final release, too many ideas for it to be properly viable.

actually i agree with you on this one FF always has been this way, don't forget FF VII some of the weapons did not exist in the JAP version, and in the JAP version I heard you could revive Aeris or Aerith (whatever you prefer, not getting into another argument here lol)only the international version was known to be the most definitive version.
