I will say this again (since my first post has been quoted many times, by many people).

I don't hate that it went multiplatform. While my jaw hit the floor out of shock while watching the Microsoft conference (why wouldn't I, up to that point it was always a PS3 exclusive, the biggest one). I did not become mad about it hitting the 360.

However I am mad that the game had waited and anticipated for 5 years is not even half the game it was suppose to be. Square had chopped up FFXIII due to game volume and overall balance.

Even if the 360 version had nothing to do with it, when has there been a Final Fantasy game that was toned down because it had to much stuff in it. Entire areas potentially full of characters to interact with or lush vibrant environments to fight epic battles in, were cut from the PS3 creation.

Just to clearify again, I don't hate that it's also on the 360. I'm mad that Final Fantasy XIII isn't even half the game it was suppose to be.

That's a bit of missplaced hate, or probably you just don't know that almost all FF games have a lot of cut out content when they are released.

Did you know that most of the story in FFX-2 was meant to be part of X?

Or how they changed more than half of the story in mid-development in FFXII?

Also, did you know that FFVI was meant to have 3 different worlds instead of the final 2 that it got? There was supposed to be a world between Balance and Ruin.
Did you also know that somewhere along development they completely took out the Esper's home world and some 10 more Espers that you could get in there.

A game as massive as FF always get tons of content cut out of it in the final release, too many ideas for it to be properly viable.
