Forums - Sales - my BOLD prediction(s)

1. PS3 will surpass total 360 in WW sales (meaning it will have more market share)

2. WII HD will be mentioned/showed at tokyo game show

3. Halo REACH will surpass the opening week of Halo 3 (in NA its 2.84 mill)

4. Mass Effect(2) will be announced for ps3

5. WII will sell more YOY

6. Zelda WII will have a higher metacritic than twilight princess (currently at 95)

7. PS3 will not dip below 180k for the rest of 2010

8. both God of War III and Gran Turismo 5 will receive metacritic scores of atleast 95

9. Demon's souls will reach the 1million mark (currently .59m)

10. FFXII VERSUS will be released in JP this winter

1. Wow, no point predicting something thats already happened.

2. Thats bold, but you could get away with a Wii equiped with an HDMI port.

3. Not very bold at all.

4. Kinda bold.

5. Not really that bold considering a late price cut.

6. Bold.

7. Pretty unlikely given the PS3 sales were 100k at points last year and present sales are up 30% right?

8. Bold and unlikely.

9. Could happen with PAL release and legs.

10. Fairly bold.

lol i mean't overall, like it will surpass and get into second place behind the WII

8. both God of War III and Gran Turismo 5 will receive metacritic scores of atleast 95-nope (GoW will be around 9.4 and barely miss it)

9. Demon's souls will reach the 1million mark (currently .59m)-It better cause it deserves EVERY sale.

10. FFXII VERSUS will be released in JP this winter-Nope (think it was over a year ago when FF13 was playable and V13 was at..13% Im guessing beginning of next year)

I agree with most.... except the Wii will sell more YoY

 

especially when your other prediction states that Wii HD will be shown.

Nintendo doesn't go to TGS, or at least they rarely do. Last time was in 2005 I believe to show off the wii-mote. I have no idea when they went before that.

halo reach will sell 5m+ opening week and neither GOW or GT5 will have a score over 93.
GOW 1 had a score of 94 and GOW 2 had 93. so another game that looks exactly like the other 2 with no co-op. it will get a 91
and then theres GT
1998 - Gran Turismo (PSOne) - 96%
1999 - Gran Turismo 2 (PSOne) - 95%
2001 - Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (PS2) - 94%
2004 - Gran Turismo 4 (PlayStation 2) - 89%
i think it will get a 92
