Well to be fair none of them are "bad games" At worst Mario & Sonic Wii/DS are mediocre. NSMB Wii, Mario & Luigi 3, NSMB DS, Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart DS are all solid to excellent experiences.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.

Wow people really went at it... Ps3 won by nothing, it was a tie... this, that... supply constrained.... OMG!!!!Pay attention to Nintendo numbers hahaha those are some really numbers. Almost 4 million... US alone? What about canada and mexico?? This shit is amazing. Super Mario Bros Wii.... :O
Another take for X360 & Ps3.... Does it really matter? Looking it as a whole, Microsoft already won. It doesn't matter if at the end Ps3 sells more (which is gonna happen, at the end of this gen ps3>X360). But Microsoft has already taken a big chunk of what Sony had. I believe that Sony lost this gen. Just look at the ps2, completely dominated. But now we have that the wii is shattering everything, and that the X360 is fighting neck to neck vs Ps3, even though PS3 has something the X360 will never have.... Japan. So, when I look at the sales right now, MS already won. Yeah, ps3 won December by... 50k? (R u serious?) but at then end, Sony is the one that has lost the most.
MS has done well, Xbox is now recognize as a big competitor in both US and Europe, and has taken a lot from what Sony used to have. Competition is good for everyone.
Now, on another note.... Damn Nintendo, you have done it well. I wonder if they are gonna have a bigger year in 2010? Bigger Holidays? Just bring the black wii, and a few bundles and this year will be awesome... once again.

seems like a lot of inbreeding going on at Nintendo brainstorming sessions.

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger
Next Xmas season, Nintendo should bundle NSMBWii and mario galaxy with black wii and knock off $10 the usual price to have another outstanding performance, and should easily have a shot at 83 M WW.
